Providing safe equipment is only one part of your duties when it comes to safe working at height. AITT accredited courses can give workers the skills and knowledge they need to use access platforms safely.
We can deliver both Scissor Lift Training and Scissor Lift with Boom at our site in Skelmersdale, Lancashire as well as off site nationwide.
Each course covers one kind of mobile elevated working platform (MEWP): telescopic, articulated or scissor-lift.
Accredited course: The course is approved by AITT – an accredited governing body recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
Course duration: 1-2 days (depending on experience and number of trainees)

Where subjects cannot be covered practically, they will either be simulated or covered orally followed by an appropriate theoretical test.
MEWP is the acronym for Mobile Elevated Working Platform. Our MEWP training is accredited by the Association of Industrial Truck Training (AITT), part of the Accrediting Bodies Association for Workplace Transport and recognised nationally.
MEWP training can be completed in a single day for both novice and experienced candidates. We cover categories 3A & 3B (scissor lift & boom respectively).
